A beautiful historic monument with original First Republic furnishings, in the style of stately French châteaux on the Loire. Set on the outskirts of Rýmařov, the villa is surrounded by a large park with tennis courts.

From the outside, the villa resembles a castle. It is a multi-storey brick building on a Y-shaped plan. Three connected wings open towards the south, with two residential wings ending in corner towers with pyramidal roofs. A cylindrical roundel forms the front terrace. The villa has a high hipped slate roof with dormers and a seven-axis southern façade with small shuttered windows. The steel roof truss was made by Vítkovické železárny, and the roofing slate comes from deposits in Nízký Jeseník.
The rear wing stands perpendicular to the axis of the front wing. Masonry rooms with four-part windows were created in the attic.

The villa offers double rooms. Guests can prepare their own breakfast in the shared kitchenette and use the tennis courts free of charge.

Janovice is home to a Renaissance château that served as the administrative centre of the entire Janovice estate. Nearby stands the architecturally significant Spitzer’s Villa, designed by Gustav Schaler in 1929. The former brewery buildings near the château are protected as a technical monument.
The villa was commissioned by Julius Spitzer (1871–1956), commercial director of the Vítkovice mining and metallurgical company.
